Tuning
Tuning is carried out by Paul Rayner who has thirty years experience of tuning not only pianos but pipe organs as well. Paul started his career at Henry Willis & Sons Ltd and has worked for Bluthner, Rushworth & Dreaper and Mander of London. Paul was trained at Horsham Piano Centre for piano tuning and has worked in many of this country's most prestigious venues such as the BBC Maida Vale Studios, BBC Concert Hall at Langham Place, Guildford Cathedral, St Paul's Cathedral, Queen Elizabeth Hall, St Paul's Knightsbridge, St Michael's Cornhill, Wylde Green Emmanuel, Royal Albert Hall, Reading Town Hall, Lewisham Town Hall, Watford Town Hall, Wimbledon Town Hall, Christ's Hospital Horsham, Leeds Castle and Victoria Theatre, Halifax. As well as looking after the more classical side of the tuning business, Paul has looked after concerts and festivals such as Leeds Jazz, Appleby Jazz and Sheffield Jazz. Paul has recently been working on a tuning round for Henry Willis & Sons Ltd.
